Contact form and hire interest form
When you use the contact form or the hire interest form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address and, if you give them, your organisation, phone number and message.
- Why: to reply to your question, or to contact you about hiring the hall when hire opens.
- Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
- Where it goes: the form is handled by a small piece of software we run ourselves, which emails the submission to the team over our own email provider. It is not passed to any third-party form service, and no copy is kept anywhere except that email. TODO: name our email provider and link to its privacy policy.
- How long we keep it: until we have dealt with your enquiry, and for hire interest until hire opens and we have contacted you, or for a maximum of two years. TODO: confirm.
- Who sees it: the volunteers who handle enquiries. We do not share it with anyone else.
If you email us, we keep the email for as long as we need it to deal with your query.
Ticket bookings
Tickets for events are sold through external ticketing sites, which have their own privacy notices. We only receive the information the organiser needs to run the event.
Embedded maps
The map on the visit and contact pages loads tiles from OpenStreetMap after the page has loaded. Your browser sends its IP address to OpenStreetMap’s servers to fetch the map images. See the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Email [email protected].
